Welcome to Turning Point Recovery Society, one of BCís leading non-profit providers of residential and outreach addiction recovery programs and services in BC.

Turning Point currently offers residential services for adults in Vancouver, Richmond, the North Shore and soon we will be opening a new site in Squamish, BC. Our programs are typically 3-5 months in duration and are licensed under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act in BC.

Our Outreach and Community Counselling Program has been operating in Richmond for the past 5 years and is currently expanding to Vancouver and the North Shore.

Admissions Information

Contact Turning Point staff at one of our sites to apply for admission. Admission requests can be made by individuals, family members or friends, physicians, psychiatrists, detox facilities, community health centers or referral agents.

Staff will ask service professionals and/or potential clients to complete a referral form, and Overdose Risk Assessment Tool which can be downloaded here:

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 13th Annual Making Recovery a Reality Gala has been rescheduled for May 12, 2023. Check back here in the spring for more information about next yearís events, including our guest speaker announcement and ticket sale information.

Outreach and Resource Support

The Turning Point Outreach and Resource Support (OARS) Program provides counselling and referrals at no cost for individuals with addiction and mental health needs. For more information or to make a referral, please call 604.279.7169 or email OARS program staff

Turning Point Awarded Govít BC Community Counselling Grant

Turning Point is honoured to have been awarded a Govít of BC, Community Action Initiative (CAI) grant. With this funding, Turning Point will be expanding our Outreach program (OARS) to Vancouver and the North Shore. Individuals with addiction and mental health issues will have access to free counselling and supports. For more information click here.
