The Christopher Kennedy Memorial Fund
The Christopher Kennedy Lawford Memorial Fund was established in 2018 to recognize Christopher's commitment to develop educational programs to enhance learning; to ensure that individuals seeking treatment at Turning Point can access services when they have limited financial means available to support them; and to advance recovery initiatives in BC through the BC Center on Substance Use.
Donations can be directed to:
The development of a curriculum based on his book Recover to Live, to be taught as part of Addictions Education programs at Turning Point and throughout the Lower Mainland. He was really excited about this work and it is well under way.
Funding assistance for individuals seeking residential treatment who have no ability to pay. Chris was a firm believer that everyone should have access to help regardless of their financial circumstances
To advance initiatives in Addiction Recovery through the BC Center on Substance Use
The BC Centre on Substance Use is an internationally recognized addiction research centre. Building a recovery-oriented system of care to make recovery accessible and achievable is a key part of the BCCSU's efforts and mandate. Your gift to St. Paul's Foundation in memory of Christopher Kennedy Lawford directly supports the BCCSU's recovery-focused research, education and policy initiatives to make recovery possible for anyone that seeks it. You can donate to BCCSU directly here.
